We will maintain an environmental management framework; setting environmental objectives and targets to form our Environmental Management System (EMS), with the aim to become one of the leading MOD contractors, in seeking opportunities to improve sustainable development.
NAAFI’s key environmental indicators (KEI’s) are designed to highlight compliance with relevant legislation, contractual requirements and progress against environmental targets. NAAFI will, in partnership with the MOD, promote sustainability enhancing processes that represent good practise wherever they are found.
We will support our staff to work more sustainably to create a culture where every individual in the business is aware of his/her responsibilities in implementing this policy and the promotion of sustainability within our business.
The Operations Director is designated as having overall responsibility for our environmental policy and, assisted by the Risk Management Team, will monitor the effectiveness of the NAAFI EMS.
Compliance to the EMS is the responsibility of each department within NAAFI.
We will review this policy on a regular basis.
