NAAFI Fund helps Sennelager Garrison Spin into Shape!

Sennelager Garrison personnel are celebrating after receiving a £10,000 grant from the NAAFI Fund to purchase 20 new spinning bikes. The old fleet of bikes was outdated and required expensive maintenance, but thanks to the NAAFI Fund, the Garrison is now able to offer a state-of-the-art spinning facility to military personnel, their families and civilians.

The new spinning classes have been a huge hit, with classes filling up quickly, providing an alternative form of fitness training.  The bikes have been used individually, with interactive online sessions and collectively, with spin instructors and provide a platform for all abilities to improve their physical and mental health and wellbeing.

A member of the spinning classes, said: “The new bikes are much better than the old ones. Comfortable, smooth and they make the intense classes more enjoyable! The spin classes not only provide me with an excellent workout, but give me the opportunity to socialise with like minded people.”

If you’re looking for a fun and challenging way to get fit, and think the NAAFI Fund could help with sourcing the equipment, get in touch @naafisocial.
