The library now boasts a substantially enhanced collection, featuring diverse genres from popular series like The Maze Runner to engaging graphic novels such as Enola Holmes. Additionally, a wide selection of the latest self-help books has been introduced to support personal development and well-being within the community.

Younger members of the community also received new resources, including wooden role-play sets like BBQ kits and camping toys, along with musical instruments, all chosen to foster creativity and imaginative play.

It has greatly enhanced and modernised our existing library stock and will incentivise more visitors to borrow items.”

Further appreciation was shared by others within the community: “Thanks to the NAAFI grant, we’ve been able to purchase some of the newest self-help books, children’s literature, and developmental toys for our garrison community. This purchase will benefit serving personnel and families for years to come and has helped modernise our newly refurbished library.”
