NAAFI announced as new main sponsors of Royal Navy Rugby League
We are delighted to announce NAAFI as the new main sponsors of the Royal Navy Rugby League!
Commander Sean Heaton, MBE Royal Navy said “Royal Navy Rugby League is delighted to re-establish its relationship with NAAFI, and this time as our new main sponsor for the next 5 years. We look forward to working closely with NAAFI to promote their work in supporting the Royal Navy personnel ashore and afloat.”
The league played their first home game of the season in Portsmouth on Friday 23rd Sep against the Royal Air Force. The Academy and Women’s teams played extremely well but it was the Senior team who claimed victory with an end result of 22-12. The following week in Bradford and rounding off their 25th Anniversary Year, the Senior Brothers claimed the Inter Services Crown for the sixth time at Odsal Stadium. Well done lads!
Steve Marshall, CEO NAAFI said “We are proud to be the Royal Navy Rugby League’s main sponsor for the next five years and look forward to working together in partnership to support their future growth and success.”
