NAAFI Fund Facilitates Soft Play Upgrades for RAF Cranwell

In 2023, the NAAFI Fund awarded £8,000 to RAF Cranwell to improve their children’s soft play facilities.

Based in Lincolnshire, the project’s aim was to provide a much-needed refresh to their soft play facilities, providing serving personnel’s children with a fun, welcoming area to play and learn.

Project sponsor, Warrant Officer Tracey Kenworthy, said: “The updated soft play area has reinvigorated the families room which provides a space for our families to meet and socialise.

‘New equipment has brightened the area and provided a safe place for pre-school children to play. The nearest soft play outside of RAF Cranwell is five miles away, and limited public transport makes this space crucial.”
