The NAAFI Fund is rolling out a fantastic new chapter for military communities around the world! We’re thrilled to announce the results of the 2025 application process, which has seen 78 incredible projects awarded a total of £549,026 in funding.
This year’s grants are set to make a real difference, supporting a wide range of initiatives that will enhance the quality of life for service personnel and their families. While there are many exciting projects to celebrate, a few stand out as particularly noteworthy.
Military personnel in the Falkland Islands can look forward to a new mass TV project, children at a Community School in Blandford Forum can expect a new Activity and Adventure Trail and there’s a significant focus on improving daily life in operational crucial areas of Europe with a major overhaul of living accommodation in one location and a brand-new gym suite in another. These projects represent NAAFI’s commitment to providing the best possible environments for our serving communities.
Fund Manager, Hannah McCourt, shared her enthusiasm, stating that “This year includes several exciting projects that will be a first for the NAAFI Fund.” She added, “I am excited to follow their progress in particular, alongside the various other projects we are supporting this year.”
The NAAFI Fund itself has adopted a new and dynamic brand identity that reflects the friendly and supportive ethos, that we are excited to see rolled out globally. This fresh look reflects the unity and long-lasting, positive impact the NAAFI Fund has in enhancing Defence communities welfare.
This year’s awards are not only making a difference in existing locations but are also expanding the NAAFI Fund’s reach to three new areas of the world. This brings the NAAFI Fund’s total contributions to an impressive £4,844,227 across 37 countries. It’s another testament to the NAAFI’s dedication to serving the services wherever they are based.
