At NAAFI, supporting our Armed Forces isn’t just something we say, it’s built into everything we do.

The more our customers spend in our stores and hospitality venues, the more we’re able to give back directly to the communities we serve. This is our Welfare Returns mechanism in action: every purchase generates a surplus, and that surplus is returned to local units to help enhance everyday life for serving personnel and their families. We are proud to announce that over the past 12 months, we’ve generated £110,435 for local garrisons and communities across seven locations.

Our Welfare Returns ensure those who use our facilities see direct benefits from their custom and support. This figure sees an improvement on 2024 when we saw £104,000 being returned to five locations. But this isn’t the only way we give back…

Through the NAAFI Fund, we’ve awarded more than £549,000 in the most recent round of funding, taking the total since 2020 to over £4.8 million. This funding supports projects that improve morale, wellbeing, and quality of life for Armed Forces personnel around the world. On top of that, we reinvest our surplus into upgrading and maintaining our facilities globally, creating welcoming, modern spaces where serving personnel can relax, unwind, and recharge, no matter where duty takes them.

From every cup of coffee to every pint poured, every grocery shop to every snack purchased, you’re helping us give back in a real and measurable way, and for that, we say thank you.

A carefully selected design process saw a bold and sleek exterior adopted, alongside an interior centered around how our customers use the space. From early morning breakfast runs to late-night welfare visits on exercises and deployments.

The Wagons boast generous serving areas, improved storage and efficient equipment layouts to enable NAAFI staff to serve personnel quicker, reducing wait times and enhancing the experience and morale for everyone.

Forces personnel across the globe are already directly benefitting from the mobile taste of home units, in countries such as Germany, Estonia, Poland, Gibraltar and Ascension Island. Not forgetting the general public near The Bridge Deck and NAAFI’s Head Office in Whiteley, England.
