NAAFI Fund Facilitates Soft Play Upgrades for RAF Cranwell

In 2023, the NAAFI Fund awarded ยฃ8,000 to RAF Cranwell to improve their childrenโ€™s soft play facilities.ย ย

Based in Lincolnshire, the projectโ€™s aim was to provide a much-needed refresh to their soft play facilities, providing serving personnelโ€™s children with a fun, welcoming area to play and learn.ย

Project sponsor, Warrant Officer Tracey Kenworthy, said: โ€œThe updated soft play area has reinvigorated the families room which provides a space for our families to meet and socialise.ย ย

โ€˜New equipment has brightened the area and provided a safe place for pre-school children to play. The nearest soft play outside of RAF Cranwell is five miles away, and limited public transport makes this space crucial.โ€ย
