There are dedicated areas within the gaming paradise, so whether you’re into wargaming, role-playing, or board games, they’ve got space for you… there’s even a special spot for painting and modelling. The extra capacity and furnishings have allowed the members to engage with the local community and veterans in a warm and welcoming space.
Group Captain Tina Jessup, Station Commander of RAF Cranwell, stated “The NAAFI Fund has enabled one of our vital social clubs to remain open and expand into a new space. With the assistance of this generous grant, they have transformed an under-utilised set of rooms into a welcoming space as part of the station social hub that contributes to station wellbeing and community support for the whole Service Family. The Fund has already begun to allow this outreach to expand and grow with holiday gaming days for service children, and space for veterans to come and socialise with serving personnel in comfort!”
So, what are you waiting for? Pop down, make new friends and explore the new tabletop gaming space!
