In 2022, funding of £15,000 was approved for the refurbishment of the bar and cinema welfare facilities at 902 Expeditionary Air Wing.
Who doesn’t love a relaxing evening watching a film with friends? That’s exactly what the serving personnel can now do at the bar, with improved facilities and a more relaxing atmosphere.
Project sponsor, Sgt Beardsall said: “This project will enhance the current welfare facilities and improve the moral and team cohesion of deployed UK personnel.”
