Bar and cinema refurbishment for RAF Police

In 2022, funding of Β£15,000 was approved for the refurbishment of the bar and cinema welfare facilities at 902 Expeditionary Air Wing.

Who doesn’t love a relaxing evening watching a film with friends? That’s exactly what the serving personnel can now do at the bar, with improved facilities and a more relaxing atmosphere.Β 

Project sponsor, Sgt Beardsall said: β€œThis project will enhance the current welfare facilities and improve the moral and team cohesion of deployed UK personnel.”

A community member contacted: β€œWe’d like to thank NAAFI for the funding they provided to improve livelihoods of personnel. The coffee machine has created a new area which is the perfect place to unwind.”
