HELM Point Pool in Gibraltar

HELM Point Pool in Gibraltar

The NAAFI Fund recently supportedΒ Helm Point Pool, a focal point and social hub for the Forces community in Gibraltar, so they could invest in a brilliant new pool cover.

Due to cool water temperatures, the season has to date been greatly reduced but Β£21k investment from the NAAFI Fund enabled them to buy a new cover that conserves water, reduces chemical consumption, reduces cleaning time and creates a greater heat retention, thus increasing the swimming season by approximately eight weeks per year!

The Fund also provided Aqua Physical FloatFit boards, a fun and effective way to improve fitness and balance.Β
